4 January 2020 – Microsoft specialist recruiter Hunter Charles has merged with parent company Talent in a move to globalise its resourcing and consulting capability to the Microsoft market.

The move also sees the launch of a new website dedicated to Microsoft resourcing under the Talent brand. Talent is a global technology recruitment and consulting specialist established in 1995 and provides resourcing capability to organisations across the globe from 16 strategically placed offices. In September 2020, Talent reported a group turnover of $726 million for FY20.

According to Talent EMEA CEO, Darren Wells the move to adopt the Talent brand is an essential step in helping to realise the next phase of its growth. He said: “Talent has built a highly successful and globally respected staffing and resourcing brand for over 25 years. The depth of client relationships, resources and overall global footprint that exists within the Talent brand presents us with a real opportunity to take our Microsoft resourcing solutions and consulting into new territories and continue to build on the successes that we’ve had over the past seven years.

“The move was born out of consultation with our existing clients and candidates and will see us expand on our levels of service, support and capability throughout 2021 and beyond. It comes at an important time for the industry as many organisations continue to invest in Microsoft technologies as part of their digital transformation strategies built to support them into the new world of work.”

Talent is one of a few suppliers selected to resource directly for Microsoft and have reported year-on-year growth of over 14%.
